Waverly Dog Run Now Open

A new park is now open in southwest Louisville. The 297-acre Waverly Park set aside a bit more than 1 acre of land to be used to create the newest dog park for the county. This makes eight dog parks throughout the county.

To have access to the park, you must submit an application showing proof of vaccination and proof that your dog is licensed in the county. Applications can be downloaded from the Louisville Dog Run Association website and turned it any one of eight Feeders Supply stores in the area. The cost is $30 for the first dog and there is a discount on multiple pets, up to four dogs. If a permit is granted, the owner is given unlimited access to the park until the end of the year.
